Il y a quelques semaines, j ai ete contacte par un etudiant que j avais rencontre durant mon voyage au Pakistan. Il m a confiee son desarroi face a la recente montee de violence dans son pays. Il m a egalement parle de son desir d ecrire un court texte au sujet d une lapidation qui a eu lieu dernierement dans sa province. Par peur des represailles, il ne prefere pas s exprimer sur ce sujet dans son pays.
C est pourquoi je lui ai propose de le mettre en ligne via ce travel blog...
Je tiens a preciser que cet etudiant est encore tres jeune et qu il apprend l anglais...

Pakistan - Trois personnes lapidées pour adultère
PESHAWAR (REUTERS) - Trois Pakistanais dont une femme que des activistes islamistes disent avoir pris en flagrant délit d'adultère ont été lapidés puis achevés par balles dans la zone tribale de Khyber, à la frontière avec l'Afghanistan, a-t-on appris jeudi auprès des habitants et des autorités locales.
L'adultère et les relations sexuelles hors mariage sont considérés comme des crimes au Pakistan et sont passibles de la lapidation en vertu de la loi islamique.
Si cette peine n'a jamais été officiellement prononcée, les conseils tribaux n'hésitent pas y recourir dans les sept zones tribales semi-autonomes du nord-ouest du pays, où l'ethnie pachtoune est majoritaire.
""Allah Noor, Shehzad et la femme, Tasleem, ont été surpris dans une situation compromettante par des activistes du mouvement islamiste Lashkar"", a rapporté Khiyal Mat Shah, un habitant de la zone.
Tous trois ont été présentés au conseil local qui les a condamnés mercredi. Plusieurs centaines de personnes ont pris part à leur lapidation avant que des membres de leurs familles ne les achèvent, a poursuivi Shah.
""Nous n'intervenons pas dans de telles affaires, qui sont du ressort des jirgas"", a déclaré Mohammad Iqbal, membre des autorités locales, selon lequel les accusés ont reconnu leur culpabilité.
Ruthless killings...
Death is a natural fact and no one can denied that. But like other things, there are different types. Some people die when they are enjoying sound sleep while some see death coming towards just like a man with helpless cry.
In the middle of March 2007, a helpless and ruthless cry was seen by a huge crowd in the Khyber Agency (North West Province of Pakistan). Two young men and a woman were killed by throwing stones on them. Before the death, they were given a harsh punishment during 9 days.
Every one in the crowd was trying to throw the stone first and more. The story goes like that...
This crime was organised by Lashkar-e-Islam, a group of people leaving in Khyber Agency. They consider themselves like a superb religious group. In fact, i think they know nothing about real islamic study. There is no such concept in Islam.
That group kidnapped and then killed these innocent people because they blamed that the 2 men came at the home of the woman for having sex. The fact is quite different. One of the 2 men killed was a lawyer. The woman has a case in the court which was submitted by himself.
Lashkar-e-Islam and an other organisation called Ansarul Islam fighted each other.
Every day in my area, about 10 to 15 people belonging to one of this organisations are killed by someone from the other side. Furthermore, about 5 common and sinless people also experienced the death of bullet by one the 2 groups.
If anyone want to see cruel killings, there is no need to go in Afghanistan or Irak...Nowadays, it becomes more and more common in Pakistan. In the Khyber Agency, unexpeted weapons, opium, hashesh (...) are also easy to find.
The gouvernement is fully aware of all these cruel activities. I think the enlight and "modern" President Mushraf and his officers are enjoying the situation. Some local politicians, for vote sake say : "such killings are our tradition".
A report says that 90 percent of the population agree with this kind of killings when there is adultery. Can you imagine living in such society ?
I know West also had a Dark Age and important unsolved society problems but i heartly wish to become again a British colony like before 1947. At least, after becoming slave again, our life will be safer. I think it s better to deny our independance under such gouvernement and organisations. |
